there were several photo exhibitions at the metropolitan museum of art when we were there. the photos below (except the first one) are from the exhibition “between here and there: passages in contemporary photography” which is on until february next year.

in the middle

I feel like I’m in the middle between summer and autumn, trying to look backwards and forwards at the same time, and not being able to get a good grip on either. what do you do to keep yourself grounded in the present – any tips?

the photos are from saturday, when we celebrated my brother-in-law’s birthday. they live in a beautiful spot!

well, I spent almost a week in bed with some sort of flu, but now I’m feeling better. I haven’t managed to sort through my new york photos yet, but in a sudden burst of energy I crocheted an iphone cover. louise has posted a pattern on her blog (in Swedish), and I based the case on that.

we came home the day before yesterday, and I’m now struggling with jetlag. when I get my head together, I will go through my photos from new york and show you some more.

finally at home with vigdis.

my sweet mother-in-law brought us meatballs when we came home!
