some more photos from my latest analogue roll of film.

I really like the tram electricity cables, the way they criss-cross the sky.

my maskros lamp again.
I just recently bought another analogue camera, a praktica ltl. I’ll show you some photos of it, and hopefully some photos taken with it soon! in the meantime you can look at kristina’s praktica photos.

It’s funny, I just posted about the second roll of film I just developed, as I am continuing my “analogue experiment.” I love your pictures! But tell me, why are you shooting analogue? I have no choice, but you do, so I wonder what’s the motivation and if you feel the difference.
what a good question! I think there are several reasons why I do it: to regain some of the excitement and anticipation of wondering how the photos turned out and to force myself to think more carefully about the photos I take, for example. I think there’s a big difference, both in how it feels to photograph and how the photos turn out. but I wouldn’t want to go back to only analogue photography – I see it as a complement to digital photography. thanks for asking and making me think about it!
i was curious because i get very impatient waiting to finish the roll and then develop–by the end of it i have forgotten what pictures i shot, so there are surprises. at this point i would prefer digital because i could learn on the spot.
I also get very impatient – that’s why I love my digital camera! instant gratification
and I see what you mean – it’s easier to learn with quicker feedback.
I appreciate that you make the time to share these – it’s certainly slower than the point click share of digital
Det är nåt speciellt med analogt, så är det bara. Fint!
the light in your analogue shots is particularly beautiful. i suspect that film holds some magic that binary code just can’t capture in the same way. still, i agree with you, i think digital and analogue complement each other.
i’m so, so curious to see you praktica shots!!!
Love, love, love the first photo! How many cameras do you have now?
oh lovely. i agree, the criss-cross shot is nice. i also loooove the lamp.
Ellie: yes, scanning them is rather boring
Ulrika: ja, visst är det!
Kristina: yes, and I think it’s also the imperfections of film that are sometimes lacking in digital photos.
B: thank you! if you ask me – not enough; if you ask husband – too many…
Kristine: thanks!
