looking back – new york in black & white

in the middle
I feel like I’m in the middle between summer and autumn, trying to look backwards and forwards at the same time, and not being able to get a good grip on either. what do you do to keep yourself grounded in the present – any tips?
the photos are from saturday, when we celebrated my brother-in-law’s birthday. they live in a beautiful spot!
